FROM STREET ART
TO THE WORLD STAGE.
Alex founded DOWIS in 1996, building on his roots in graffiti and street art. Today, his work brings together light painting, live sound and visual storytelling for audiences across Europe, the United States and Asia.
An artist and art director, Alex works across Light Art, Speed Painting, scenography and multimedia theatre. He reached the semifinals of America’s Got Talent (2019) and appeared in talent competitions in France, Spain, Greece and Italy, as well as Česko Slovensko má talent. In 2022, he received the Golden Buzzer on Romania’s Got Talent.
On Spain’s El Hormiguero, Alex performed for Antonio Banderas and later created a live Light Art tribute for bestselling author Dan Brown.
In 2015, he represented the Czech Republic at EXPO in Milan and conceived and directed the opening ceremony of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. He also created the multimedia theatre production Art of Evolution.
Alongside performing, he mentors young artists, helping the next generation develop their own visual language.

Can the show be customized to our company?
Yes. We develop a tailored storyboard around your brand, history, product, values or event theme. Music, sound effects, narration and logo reveals can be integrated.
How long is a performance?
Most custom performances run approximately 8–15 minutes, depending on the story and event requirements.
Do you perform in the United States and internationally?
Yes. Our team travels internationally, including the United States, Europe and Asia. Logistics and equipment are planned for each engagement.
What does the venue need?
Light Art requires a darkened stage area, suitable stage space and a sound connection. A typical single-screen setup uses approximately 6 × 3 m of stage space, with sufficient height and clearance. We provide a detailed technical rider for your venue.
Can we include a workshop or guest experience?
Yes. Interactive Light Art experiences and Sand Art workshops can complement the live show.
